Cosmetic Surgery Center
Huntsville, Alabama

GRC Design Group was retained by Hay Buchanan Architects to develop a landscape plan for this new outpatient surgery center. Included in the design was the need for the building to blend in with the existing office park. This was accomplished by harmonious plant material, bedlines that work with the other lots around the building, and the overall size of material.

Valley United Methodist Church
Huntsville, Alabama

Having run out of classroom space, Valley United Methodist Church is building a new administration and classroom wing. GRC Design Group was asked to create a design that would unify the existing sanctuary and new building as well as the entire property. This was achieved through the use of plant texture and repetition of trees and shrubs throughout the site. The irrigation design was also included in the overall design.

Gary Hudson DMD, MD
Huntsville, Alabama

GRC Design Group was retained to develop a landscape plan for this doctor’s office in south Huntsville. Included in the design was the need for the building to blend in with the existing medical office park and to highlight the building's architectural features. This was accomplished by harmonious plant material that was used at other offices, bed lines that work with other planting schemes in the adjacent properties around this building, and the overall size of material. The details of the building were accentuated by deciduous plant material at the corners and highlighting the entrances of the building with small flowering trees. Irrigation was also included in the design.

First United Methodist Church
Birmingham, Alabama

Renovations of this 125 -year-old church began in the fall of 2001. The church, while improving the interior, also wished to improve the grounds. They requested that new hardscape, irrigation, and landscape be included in the improvements. Various new sidewalks and all new landscape were installed creating a intimate setting in the courtyard.
