Involved in this design was a plant palette which would not only be functional but also unique for the residents of the apartment complex. Flowering trees and small evergreen trees were used throughout the neighborhood for interest. Large shade trees were used for uniformity along the parking lots and islands. The irrigation design was also included in the design package.

Cherry Ridge
Jefferson County, Alabama

These apartment buildings are an addition to a senior living facility in Jefferson County. They were developed to provide the residents with a place for independent living. The landscape and irrigation were included in the design package.

Somerby at Jones Farm
Huntsville, Alabama

Somerby at Jones Farm is a senior living community nestled in Jones Valley. The Community includes 186 apartments and 47 patio homes. This facility includes amenities such as vegetable gardening plots, flower beds for the residents, outdoor gazebos for informal meetings, and walking paths around the campus.

Involved in the design was the development of a master plan, hardscape detailing, site amenities, irrigation, landscape, and the signage design. Important to the owner was the development of a facility which would provide its residents with multiple outdoor activities.
